Aviators Continue To Soar In 20-0 Win


VANDALIA - The Aviators improved to 14-2, 11-1 on the season with a 20-0, run-rule win over the West Carrollton Pirates Friday evening.


Kaden Echeman (5-0) got the start and the win for Butler, pitching two innings and holding the Pirates hitless. Echeman struck out four, before giving way to freshman Jordan Taylor in the third inning.


Taylor came on and struck out the side, turning in a solid inning of work in relief.


The sophomore tandem of Evan Ables and Josh Morris pitched the final two innings, holding West Carrollton hitless to close out the win.


Boston Smith led all Aviators at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double, a homerun and seven RBI.


Cason Bennett finished 2-for-3 with three RBI, Quinton Hall was 2-for-3 with two RBI, and Jayden Watkins went 2-for-3 with three runs.


Kaden Echeman, Mike Masters and Austin Flohre each added multiple RBI's for the Aviators.


Butler gets the weekend off and returns to action on Monday at home versus Fairborn at 5:00 pm.
