FAIRBORN - AVIATORS WIN! Mason Reckner took care of business on all fronts, as Butler ran roughshod over Fairborn 14-0 in five innings. The righty allowed just three hits, while striking out four through four innings. At the plate, Reckner went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and a double.
Alex Ables also had a big day finishing 3-for-3 with 2 RBI. Sophomore pitcher Davis Ketterer closed out the win for Butler with a strong inning of work, striking out two.
The Aviators return to action on Monday against Xenia, in what will be a busy week of MVL action.
