WEST CARROLLTON - Butler got back in the win column Wednesday evening, with a 5-2 win at West Carrollton.
Senior Evan Ables (4-0) went the distance for the Aviators on the mound, notching 12 strikeouts.
Offensively senior Cayden Borchers (1 RBI) and sophomore Hunter Richardson (2-for-4, 1 RBI) each doubled. Richardson also added a triple in the victory.
Sophomores Russ Stratman (2-for-3) and Mason Reckner each added an RBI for Butler, while junior Alex Ables contributed a hit.
The Aviators head to Troy on Thursday for a rematch with the division leading Trojans at 5:00 pm at the historic Market Street Field.
